Taken on a day when the "Fall Colors" were at their peak vibrancy for this part of Southeast Michigan. The orange maple leaves on the tree and on the roof of the home were really interesting to me. The corn was almost dry and it was harvested a week later. The nearby train tracks have become a continued point of interest for me. One or more cars of grain dropped part of their contents sometime earlier in the year and have now sprouted a green carpet between the rails. The contrast of green shoots against the old wooden ties and rusty steel rails, as well as the fading color of trees getting ready for winter, stuck out to me.
